DeNA will drive brand development, content design, and planning/operation for the festival. This initiative is part of the "Kawasaki Arena-City Project," a project jointly promoted by DeNA and Keikyu Corporation (Location: Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa; President: Yukihiro Kawamata; hereinafter referred to as Keikyu Electric Railway) at a site adjacent to Keikyu Kawasaki Station. This project aims to create a town centered around the construction of a complex entertainment facility and its surrounding area. The "Kawasaki Arena-City Project" has set "Development of Content to Energize the City" as one of its key objectives. Following the planned opening of the Arena City in 2030, the goal is to attract 3.3 million visitors annually through home games for the Kawasaki Brave Thunders, sports, and live entertainment performances such as dance, along with town development. As a major measure to achieve this, DeNA will participate in the executive committee of the new urban festival "KAWASAKI FESTIVAL 2026," launched by the public and private sectors, to work on creating new vibrancy in the city in anticipation of the Arena City's opening. *1 The "Kawasaki Arena-City Project" is engaged in town development centered on the arena and its surrounding areas, with three key objectives: "Arena City Development in Harmony with the City," "Development of Content to Energize the City," and "Sustainable City Development (Kawasaki 2050 Model)." ■ Background DeNA has deepened its collaboration with the local community in Kawasaki, starting with its assumption of club operations for the Kawasaki Brave Thunders in 2018, using sports as a catalyst.
