Cygames announced that pre-orders for the action RPG GRANBLUE FANTASY: Relink - Endless Ragnarok, scheduled for release on July 9, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam, began on May 14 through My Nintendo Store and PlayStation Store. The Steam version will not offer pre-orders, but users can add the title to their wishlist. The company also released the latest video, 2nd Trailer 'Strength & Darkness,' alongside a new content trailer introducing the game’s new features, including Summons and the single-player mode Extreme Chaotic Void. The newly revealed playable characters are Fraux and Fediel. With these additions, the game will feature six new playable characters and a total of 29 playable characters when combined with the previous title. The rival character The World was also unveiled. Fraux is a skyfarer contracted with the primal beast The Devil, part of the Arcarum series, while Fediel is one of the Six Dragons, governing darkness as a world pillar. The World is another Arcarum-series primal beast seeking world reform. The new Summon battle system allows players to equip summon stones and activate summons during combat. Effects include temporarily controlling summoned characters to attack, granting status effects, and gaining skills or stat boosts simply by equipping summon stones. The trailer introduces Lucifer and Rolan as special summon stones with exceptionally powerful abilities. Lyria can also trigger Ascend Chain, summoning primal beasts for powerful follow-up attacks after link time and successful chain bursts. Summons are unlocked after clearing the main story of the original GRANBLUE FANTASY: Relink and can be used in high-difficulty battles such as the new CHAOS difficulty introduced in Endless Ragnarok. Extreme Chaotic Void is a new single-player-only stage-clearing mode. Players enter mysterious gates, progress through randomly generated stages, complete missions, choose subsequent gates, and aim for deeper areas. Be
