MoneyForward, Inc. has announced the integration of its MoneyForward Cloud Accounting with Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork via the Remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server (hereinafter, MCP Server). To date, MoneyForward has provided the MCP Server and advanced integrations with AI tools such as Cursor and Claude to support enterprise data utilization and operational efficiency in the generative AI era※1. With the general release of Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork, MoneyForward now supports it as a new MCP client. With the addition of the MoneyForward Cloud Accounting plugin to the Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork marketplace, users can now seamlessly connect accounting data through the MCP Server while remaining within their familiar Microsoft 365 environment. Specifically, information from MoneyForward Cloud Accounting can be accessed via Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork and automatically reflected in files such as Excel and PowerPoint. This significantly reduces the time and effort required to create reports and business documents using accounting data.
