CONTEC CO., LTD. announced that its industrial network product, the FLEXLAN® FX5000 Series, has complied with JC-STAR, a labeling program operated by Japan’s Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA), an independent administrative agency under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, to evaluate and visualize the security performance of IoT devices. CONTEC stated that it will continue developing and providing network equipment products with high security standards so customers can operate IoT systems with confidence. Products that have obtained the JC-STAR ★1 Level 1 compliance label include the FXA5000 wireless access point, FXA5020 external-antenna wireless access point, FXE5000 embedded wireless LAN board, and FXS5021 wireless LAN converter.
