Commons Asset Management Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tetsuro Ii; hereinafter "Commons AM") is pleased to announce that the 17th recipient of its "Commons SEEDCap (Social Entrepreneur Support Program)" donation program, which has been ongoing since its founding, has been decided as Mr. Torui Hirai of NPO CoCoTELI. A donation of 2 million yen will be made. Mr. Torui Hirai of NPO CoCoTELI | At the Commons Social Entrepreneur Forum ■ About Commons AM's Donation Mechanism At Commons AM, we view long-term investment from both economic and social return perspectives. We believe that society and business are sustainable only when these two aspects work together as a pair. Based on this philosophy, we position not only investment but also donations as core business activities. "Commons SEEDCap" is a program where we donate an amount equivalent to 1% of the trust fees received by our company from the Commons 30 Fund, which we manage and sell, to entrepreneurs addressing social issues each year. Of the total donation amount, 2 million yen is allocated to the year's supported recipient, and the remainder is donated as "Okage-枠" (Gratitude Slot) (*). Furthermore, for the three finalists selected, Commons AM employees provide assistance with event planning and public relations activities for one year. *About the Okage-枠 (Gratitude Slot) This mechanism donates the remaining balance after excluding the selection slot from the total donation amount for the year, starting from the first recipient of the first SEEDCap program, until the donation amount reaches 2 million yen. After the first recipient reaches 2 million yen, donations are made to the second recipient until they reach 2 million yen, and so on. For the current period, we donated 100,000 yen to Certified NPO ACE, the first SEEDCap recipient, and 1.73 million yen to Civic Force, the second SEEDCap recipient, as part of the Okage-枠 donations. https://www.commons30.jp/donation/ Fund beneficia
