Taipower explained in a press release today that the procurement case underwent three public review periods to solicit manufacturer opinions on July 10, 2023, February 21, 2025, and August 4, 2025. The first public tender was held in September last year but failed due to an insufficient number of bidders. Taipower stated that, following procurement procedures, a second public tender was held in December last year. After several reviews by the bid evaluation working group, it was confirmed that the bidding manufacturer met the relevant qualifications and specifications.
