According to official media, the UAE will speed up the construction of the "West-East Pipeline" to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial waterway currently impacted by the Middle East war. Directed by Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled, the pipeline will double ADNOC's export capacity through the Fujairah port and is expected to be operational next year. The UAE also plans to increase crude oil production capacity to 5 million barrels per day.
