The Taipei City Urban Planning Commission preliminarily approved the detailed plan for the Minsheng-Xizhi MRT line. Discussions included land rezoning near stations and listening to citizens' petitions. The amended plan will be sent to the Ministry of the Interior for review. If the comprehensive planning report is approved by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, construction is estimated to begin two years later.
