The 28th Taipei Film Awards announced its nominees today. Actors Rene Liu, Ariel Lin, and Ivy Chen are among the snubs for Best Actress. For Best Actor, Leon Dai, despite playing dual roles in 'Kung Fu', and Roy Chiu in 'Girl', were also left out. The festival director stated that while their performances were praised and creative, they didn't receive enough votes from the jury.
