Taiwan's preventive health screening age for adults has been lowered to 30. Recent results reveal that 31.1% of adults over 30 have abnormal blood pressure, and alarmingly, 15.1% of young adults aged 30-39 are affected—equivalent to 1 in 7 people. High blood pressure is a silent killer, claiming about 45,000 lives annually through cardiovascular diseases. Experts warn that only one-third of people aged 20-40 are aware of their condition. The Health Promotion Administration urges the public to adopt the '722' home measurement principle. Currently, 1,515 'Safe Blood Pressure Stations' are available across Taiwan.
