Jianshi Township in Hsinchu County is currently celebrating its May Peach harvest season. With a planting area of about 16 hectares and favorable weather conditions, the total yield is expected to exceed 20 metric tons this year. To help local farmers market their produce, Jianshi Township Mayor Tseng Kuo-ta announced an upcoming promotional evening gala in Yufeng Village. The event will feature indigenous Atayal music and dance performances, local cuisine, and peach sales. The township aims to combine cultural tourism with agriculture to attract visitors and boost local brand visibility.
