Getac, a manufacturer of rugged industrial computers, announced during an investor conference that its operations are expected to grow quarter by quarter this year, with full-year revenue projected to increase by 5% to 10%. Chairman Hwang Ming-han highlighted that over the next 12 months, drone-related business will account for 5% to 10% or more of rugged computer revenue. Despite a Q1 decline in mechanical components due to lower laptop demand, recovery is expected starting Q2. Getac's Taiwan plant will also relocate to Taoyuan in July to meet capacity needs.
