Hong Kong author Leung Lee-chi's novel 'Everyday Movement,' completed in Hong Kong and Taiwan, has resonated with readers in the US following its English publication in February. Leung and translator Jennifer Feeley visited San Francisco and New York for literary exchanges. Leung noted the novel's focus on life after a massive social movement inadvertently aligned with the current US political climate. She also praised Taiwan's literary environment for offering greater creative freedom and publishing opportunities after facing restrictions in Hong Kong.
