Central News Agency (CNA, Hsinchu, July 3) Server management chip manufacturer Accton Technology saw its revenue continue to climb in June, reaching a new historical high of NT$1.31 billion. Accton stated that the growth in server chip sales was the main driver behind the record revenue. Accton's self-reported revenue for June was NT$1.31 billion, an increase of 2.19% month-on-month and 67.47% year-on-year. For the second quarter, Accton's revenue reached NT$3.871 billion, setting a new quarterly record and surpassing its original target of NT$3.4 billion to NT$3.6 billion, a 23% increase quarter-on-quarter. Accton's cumulative revenue for the first six months of the year was NT$7.018 billion, an increase of 62.77% compared to the same period last year. Accton had previously anticipated that, benefiting from stronger-than-expected traditional server demand, its performance in the second half of the year would likely continue its quarter-on-quarter upward trend, with overall performance in the second half exceeding that of the first half. Accton also expects that, in addition to a potential increase in shipment volume, product generational upgrades and the rapid ramp-up of higher-priced new products will drive revenue growth next year.
