Central News Agency (CNA, reporter Lai Yu-chen, Taipei, July 3) The Ministry of the Interior's National Land Administration announced today that applications for housing purchase and renovation loan interest subsidies will open in September. The newly revised "Income and Asset Standards for Housing Subsidy Recipients" will apply, with an estimated 6,000 households expected to benefit. The Ministry of the Interior held a departmental meeting yesterday, where the National Land Administration reported on the revised "Income and Asset Standards for Housing Subsidy Recipients" announced on June 11, along with a summary of new regulations from various ministry departments taking effect in July. The National Land Administration stated in a press release that the government has implemented the "Income and Asset Standards for Housing Subsidy Recipients" since 2017. These standards are adjusted annually based on the latest minimum living expenses and asset standards for low-income and middle-income households published by social welfare authorities, as well as data on real estate transactions from the previous year. These parameters serve as the eligibility criteria for annual housing loan interest subsidy applications and are divided into 10 regional standards. According to this year's latest "Income and Asset Standards for Housing Subsidy Recipients," applicants for self-built housing loan interest subsidies, housing purchase loan interest subsidies, renovation housing loan interest subsidies, and simple renovation housing expense subsidies under Article 9, Paragraph 1 of the Housing Act will have different conditions based on their registered city or county. For example, annual income must be between NT$1.09 million and NT$1.78 million, with average monthly income per person ranging from NT$53,106 to NT$72,604. Additionally, for those applying for self-built or housing purchase loan interest subsidies, the asset limit for movable property must be within the range of NT$3.3
