Central News Agency (CNA Reporter Tseng Jen-kai Taipei, July 2) Apparel manufacturer JUPITER today announced its June revenue of NT$2.851 billion, an increase of 5.3% month-on-month and 0.53% year-on-year, reaching a three-month high. Overall, the company's revenue in the second quarter showed a month-on-month increase. JUPITER spokesperson Lin Heng-yu stated today that the third quarter is entering the traditional peak season, and the company's revenue will continue to rise month-on-month. JUPITER's revenue began to decline in April last year due to factors such as US tariffs. JUPITER CEO Chou Hsin-peng predicted at the beginning of this year that, except for the high base period in the first quarter, JUPITER's operations would return to year-on-year growth starting from the second quarter. JUPITER announced its second-quarter revenue today at NT$8.166 billion, a decrease of 8.2% quarter-on-quarter, but an increase of 6.2% compared to the same period last year, meeting the original target. JUPITER's cumulative revenue for the first half of this year was NT$17.062 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3.12%. Lin Heng-yu stated today that due to shipping schedule factors, approximately NT$100 million in revenue was deferred in June, which will be reflected in July's revenue. Looking ahead to the third quarter, Lin Heng-yu said that the third quarter has always been JUPITER's traditional peak operating season. Current order intake appears normal, and it is estimated that third-quarter revenue will continue to rise month-on-month, with overall shipments for the quarter expected to grow by a single-digit percentage compared to the same period last year.
