Hsinchu County Magistrate Yang Wen-ko and Hsinchu County Councilor Chang Yi-sheng attended the launch press conference held by the Hsinchu County Government today. Yang Wen-ko stated at the event that Hsinchu County possesses rich indigenous culture and advantages in the technology industry. He hopes that the carnival will combine traditional indigenous wisdom with modern technological innovation to drive local tourism and economic development. Yang Wen-ko said that the event includes indigenous cultural performances, specialty agricultural product markets, parent-child DIY experiences, and indigenous music concerts. It will also feature AI tribal pattern generation, AR cultural exploration, VR indigenous village tours, and VR tea-making experiences, presenting indigenous culture through digital technology. The Indigenous Peoples Affairs Department of the Hsinchu County Government stated in writing that the event will also integrate corporate support for indigenous industries. Wistron Information Technology's Hsinchu plant will purchase peaches from Jianshi Township, Hsinchu County, through corporate group buying and employee pre-order mechanisms.
