AIT Director Brent Christensen will throw the first pitch, and players from the Dongyuan Elementary School baseball team, champions of the Little League World Series, have been invited to participate. AIT issued a press release today stating that to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States and the enduring US-Taiwan partnership, AIT will hold the "US-Taiwan Friendship Night: 250th Anniversary of American Independence America Day x American Night Market" celebration event at 6:30 PM on July 3 at Tianmu Baseball Stadium in Taipei City. AIT announced that Director Brent Christensen (Raymond Greene) and a VIP guest will jointly throw the first pitch, kicking off the exciting event. Event highlights include a themed visual designed by Houston artist GONZO247, an American-themed night market, a special exhibition on American heroes, and limited-edition commemorative gifts.
