Central News Agency (CNA) - Zyxel, a subsidiary of Zyxel Communications, announced today its expansion of outdoor wireless access point product lines, targeting the outdoor connectivity market with the launch of its point-to-point wireless access point. This move aims to assist Managed Service Providers (MSPs) in meeting the continuously growing demand for high-speed, stable connections. Zyxel stated that its point-to-point wireless access point features a pre-paired design for out-of-the-box usability, eliminating complex setup. It can establish stable wireless transmission up to 5 kilometers, enabling businesses to rapidly deploy extensive outdoor connectivity across different zones. Furthermore, Zyxel emphasized that the point-to-point wireless access point is designed to meet the requirements for rapid and stable connectivity in harsh outdoor environments without complicated setup. It is suitable for industrial and light industrial sites, small and medium-sized enterprises, and various environments needing extended wireless coverage. Coupled with a cloud management platform, it allows MSPs to centrally manage all devices, complete deployments quickly, and continuously monitor and optimize network performance. Zyxel explained that the point-to-point wireless access point, designed for long-distance connectivity needs, can also utilize its paired architecture to quickly establish stable point-to-point connections in different locations. It is applicable to campuses, sports stadiums and event venues, resorts, as well as large outdoor environments like train stations and airports, helping to extend main network coverage and enhance deployment flexibility.
