The Afghan Ministry of Defense issued a statement overnight claiming airstrikes were launched against militants in Pakistan's border provinces. The Pakistani military stated that Afghan Taliban forces yesterday "launched four rudimentary drones towards the Balochistan province on the border... The enemy aerial platforms were immediately detected by Pakistan's robust air defense network." The military added, "If the Afghan Taliban government continues to provoke Pakistan, they will receive a corresponding response and pay a heavy price for it."
