Central News Agency (CNA) - International oil and gas prices are fluctuating, and developments in the Middle East remain to be observed. CPC Corporation, Taiwan (CPC) announced today that effective midnight tomorrow, the prices for household liquefied petroleum gas (bottled gas), industrial propane, butane, mixed propane-butane, and automotive liquefied petroleum gas in July will not be adjusted, maintaining the lowest price in Asia. CPC explained that after the US and Iran initiated negotiations, international oil and gas prices fell. However, recent conflicts during the US-Iran negotiation process have raised market concerns about the safety of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, leading to price volatility in international oil and gas markets. Developments in the Middle East are still under observation. CPC stated that considering the accumulated absorption amount for CPC's liquefied petroleum gas products is estimated to exceed NT$7.7 billion by the end of June 2026, and the selling price remains below cost, the price of liquefied petroleum gas will not be adjusted in July. CPC will continue to absorb the remaining deficit, maintaining the lowest price in Asia. CPC indicated that it will continue to monitor international oil and gas market dynamics and conduct rolling reviews. (Editor: Chang Chun-mao) 0701 Stand with facts.
