The case has concluded with an indictment. Considering the significant harm Wang caused to the children's physical and mental development, a severe sentence has been requested. According to the indictment from the Chiayi District Prosecutor's Office, Wang, a 46-year-old club coach at an elementary school in Chiayi County, molested specific female students at least 15 times between March 15 and May 20 of this year, utilizing regular weekly club practice times. The acts occurred both inside classrooms and in the indoor gymnasium. The Chiayi District Prosecutor's Office stated that when the specific female students who were frequently molested by Wang took leave, Wang shifted his attention to another female student. He used the same methods to molest her during club practices on May 20 and May 27. The student who was inappropriately touched twice informed teachers and elders, leading to the case's exposure. The school later discovered another child who had been molested multiple times and had endured it for two months. Following a complaint filed by the victims' parents against Wang, the case was transferred to the judiciary by the police. After interrogation, the Chiayi District Prosecutor's Office applied for detention. The Chiayi District Court deemed that Wang posed a risk of repeatedly committing the same offense. Considering the severity and frequency of Wang's crimes, his apparent inability to control his desires, and the potential risk he poses to society, the court ordered his detention.
