The Taichung City Fire Bureau received a report at 9:34 AM today regarding an electrocution incident on Taiwan Boulevard Section 2 in Xitun District, with injuries reported. Emergency rescue vehicles were immediately dispatched to the scene. Firefighters stated that the incident occurred when a company employee attempted to repair an appliance himself and was accidentally shocked by a 380V voltage. Upon arrival, the appliance was smoking. The male patient sustained third-degree electrical burns to his right upper arm and face and was conscious.
