Central News Agency (CNA Taipei, July 1) The North Korean Embassy in China has reportedly replaced 25 photos on the propaganda display board next to its main entrance, with an increase in the number of photos featuring North Korean leader Kim Jong Un alongside his daughter, Kim Ju Ae. According to Yonhap News Agency, the display board had previously been entirely updated with photos of the late North Korean leader Kim Il Sung to commemorate his birthday. This latest update shifts the focus to photos of Kim Jong Un at public events in North Korea. The report noted that in March of this year, three photos of Kim Jong Un and Kim Ju Ae together were displayed. Following this update, such photos have significantly increased, with a total of six photos now displayed showing Kim Jong Un and Kim Ju Ae together. These include photos of Kim Jong Un and Kim Ju Ae inspecting a newly built chicken farm in January 2024, attending the completion ceremony of the Kangdong General Greenhouse in March 2024, attending the completion ceremony of the Wonsan Kalma Tourist Area in June 2025, inspecting a hotel in Samjiyon City in December 2025, visiting a food factory in Sinpo City in the same month, and Kim Ju Ae attending the completion ceremony of residential buildings in the Hwaseong area of Pyongyang in February of this year. The TV screen below the propaganda display board, which was mostly off in the past, has now begun continuously playing footage of Kim Jong Un's recent public activities, including more than five photos of Kim Jong Un inspecting the Sinŭiju Greenhouse Complex Farm with Kim Ju Ae on May 31 of this year.
