A residential building in Wenshan District also caught fire, and firefighters quickly extinguished it without any injuries or fatalities. The fire department received a report at 9:27 PM on July 1st about a fire at an environmental recycling facility located at Lane 176, Section 7, Yanping North Road, Shilin District. Large amounts of smoke rose into the sky. A large number of personnel and vehicles were dispatched to the scene. The fire was extinguished at 10:52 PM. Preliminary checks confirmed no one was inside, and there were no casualties. In addition, a fire broke out at a residential building at Lane 236, Section 5, Roosevelt Road, Wenshan District, at 9:13 PM on July 1st. Intense flames engulfed the building. Firefighters deployed numerous personnel and vehicles to the scene and set up water lines to combat the blaze. A floor-by-floor search confirmed no injuries or fatalities.
