Aoi Zama, a resident of Yotsukaido City, achieved second place in the girls' kumite category for fifth-grade elementary school students at the 26th Chiba Prefecture Junior Karate Championships. As a result, she has qualified to compete in the "KARATE WEEK 2026 Aeru Trophy 26th All-Japan Junior Karate Championships," to be held from August 13 (Thu), 2026. On June 23 (Tue), she visited the mayor of Yotsukaido City to report her achievement.
