Overview of the Promotion Team Name: AI Utilization Promotion Team Objective: To achieve fundamental reform of administrative tasks through AI, building a future-ready system that enables staff to focus on citizen-facing services and policy development, thereby improving citizen services Duration: June 10, 2026 (Reiwa 8) to March 31, 2027 (Reiwa 9) Mission: To propose AI utilization plans that realize efficient, labor-saving, and automated administrative operations—reducing time and personnel required for tasks, accelerating procedures, and minimizing errors and rework. (Main Initiatives) ・Visualize operations across all departments to identify areas where AI can be effectively applied. ・Develop prototype AI agents for common tasks such as contract processing, testing them in real work environments and refining through iteration. ・Evaluate the results and impact of these initiatives and formulate future AI utilization strategies.
