A commemorative lecture will be held on the theme of "Nagachika Kanamori," marking 440 years since the warlord Nagachika Kanamori, who served the three heroes Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu, and has ties to Takayama, entered Hida Province in 1586 (Tensho 14). The year Reiwa 8 will mark 440 years of his domain. As the lecturer, we have invited Tetsuo Owada (Professor Emeritus, Shizuoka University), a leading scholar of Sengoku period history who has appeared on numerous historical programs and served as a historical consultant for historical dramas.
