Saijo City (Mayor: Ochi Mitsuyoshi) is working to promote physician relocation to build a sustainable regional healthcare system starting in fiscal year 2024. To this end, the city will establish a new community called "Saijo Doctors Connect" to share the current status and future outlook of regional healthcare, and to connect physicians practicing outside the city with physicians within the city. This community will be an online hub utilizing Facebook's "Groups" feature, aiming to be a place for easy dialogue anytime, anywhere.
