Recycle Plaza will host its 'Summer Parent-Child Craft Workshop' on Friday, August 7, timed to coincide with summer vacation, offering families an opportunity to deepen their understanding of environmental issues and recycling. During this workshop, wooden items brought to Recycle Plaza as bulky waste will not be discarded but instead reused as valuable resources. Under the careful guidance of senior citizen craftspeople from the Silver Human Resources Center, parents and children will work together to create original, handmade small furniture pieces—an ideal hands-on experience perfect for summer vacation school projects.
