The Chugoku Bank (Okayama City, President Sadanori Kato) has been entrusted with the "FY2026 Manufacturing Industry GX and Competitiveness Enhancement Project" implemented by Okayama Prefecture, and announces that applications are now open for companies to calculate their CFP (Carbon Footprint). This project aims to enhance corporate competitiveness and brand image by visualizing the environmental value of products through CFP calculation, targeting manufacturing companies headquartered in Okayama Prefecture. The project will focus on calculating greenhouse gas emissions throughout the product lifecycle. Through this project, the Bank will foster momentum for promoting decarbonization management among companies in the prefecture, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society and the development of the regional economy. ■ Project Overview and Application Guidelines Scope of Work 1. Accompanying support for CFP calculation implementation * Selection of products for CFP calculation * Creation of lifecycle flow diagrams * Organization and collection of data required for CFP calculation * CFP calculation and analysis of calculation results * Proposals for methods utilizing CFP calculation results 2. Sharing of support outcomes * Holding of an outcome reporting session (announcement of calculation results, etc.) Eligible Companies * Must be a manufacturing company headquartered in Okayama Prefecture. * Must be able to cooperate with factory visits and on-site meetings for calculation. * Must be able to cooperate with presentations and material preparation for the outcome reporting session. * Must agree to the public disclosure of calculation results on the outcome reporting session, Okayama Prefecture website, etc. * Must be able to provide information necessary for calculation to Okayama Prefecture and the support team.
