This event, led by the Regional Brand Co-creation Office, brought together municipalities and businesses engaged in inbound tourism in the Chubu region to learn from advanced case studies and exchange opinions, fostering new connections. The "Nagoya Inbound Night" is held with the aim of having companies in the Chubu region apply insights from various regional revitalization and inbound tourism initiatives from across Japan to create a more attractive Chubu region. For the 9th session, Mr. Shuhei Yabuki, Director of the Tourism Resources Division, Tourism Regional Development Department, Japan Tourism Agency, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, was invited as a guest. He explained the outline and interpretation of the Basic Plan for Promoting a Tourism-Oriented Country and the key focus points for future tourism policies. He also spoke in depth about promoting local tourism in the Tokai and Aichi areas and the government's "requests to regions." During the subsequent networking session, approximately 60 participants exchanged opinions and interacted regarding inbound tourism in the region, discussing inbound attraction and future collaborations.
