CBRE, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Takashi Tsuji; hereinafter referred to as CBRE) has signed a basic agreement with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government concerning the "Corporate Relocation Support Project for Fostering New Industries." Moving forward, CBRE will promote applications for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's "Support for Corporate Relocation to Foster New Industries" (hereinafter referred to as "this project") and support selected companies in developing innovative R&D bases and production facilities contributing to economic security within Tokyo. This project involves the Tokyo Metropolitan Government subsidizing up to 5 billion yen for the development of innovative R&D bases and production facilities that contribute to economic security, targeting industries with high ripple effects. The aim is to promote growth investment by companies engaged in next-generation research and development, thereby strengthening Tokyo's industrial competitiveness and achieving sustainable economic growth. This agreement was made in recognition of CBRE's extensive brokerage experience in large-scale commercial properties in Tokyo, as well as its diverse domestic and international client base and sales network. In this project, CBRE will work to promote applications while considering a continuous application and selection process. CBRE will also provide multifaceted support to selected companies, including offering information on land and properties, and organizing business briefings, seminars, and consultation sessions to assist with the development of their bases in Tokyo. Support is currently being provided for selections scheduled for September 2026.
