Canon IT Solutions Inc. (head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Hiroshi Suyama; hereinafter “Canon ITS”), a Canon Marketing Japan Group company, announced that its in-house developed financial accounting system, “SuperStream-NX Fixed Asset Management,” has received the “Certification for Legal Requirements for Electronic Book Software” from the Japan Image and Information Management Association (JIIMA). The certification program is a system under which JIIMA, as a third-party organization, reviews and evaluates whether software that supports Japan’s Electronic Books Preservation Act and is used to create and store national tax-related books has the required functions. Software judged to meet the legal requirements is certified. “SuperStream-NX Fixed Asset Management,” which supports the management of fixed assets and leased assets, has been recognized as meeting the functional specifications stipulated by the Electronic Books Preservation Act. It obtained the “Certification for Legal Requirements for Electronic Book Software” based on the FY2023 revised legal standards on April 23, 2026. With this certification, customers using “SuperStream-NX Fixed Asset Management” do not need to individually verify legal compliance regarding preservation requirements related to ensuring the authenticity and visibility of documents, or requirements for classifying covered documents. They can operate electronic transactions in compliance with the Electronic Books Preservation Act with greater confidence. The “SuperStream-NX” series has continuously worked to support the Electronic Books Preservation Act. “SuperStream-NX Integrated Accounting” has already obtained both the “Certification for Legal Requirements for Electronic Book Software” and the “Certification for Legal Requirements for Scanner Storage Software under the Electronic Books Preservation Act.” Going forward, “SuperStream-NX” will continue product development that contributes to customers
