Bandai Namco Filmworks will release a series of “Japanese Painting-Style Creator Art” products to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the TV anime Inuyasha and the premiere of the TV anime MAO. The artworks are newly drawn by Setta, who handles brush-lettered subtitles and talisman designs appearing in MAO. The lineup includes “Japanese Painting-Style Creator Art: Inuyasha” from the TV anime Inuyasha, available in two versions for 49,500 yen each including tax; “Japanese Painting-Style Creator Art: Sesshomaru,” also available in two versions for 49,500 yen each including tax; and “Japanese Painting-Style Creator Art: Mao and Byoki” from the TV anime MAO, available in two versions for 49,500 yen each including tax. Preorders will be accepted through Bandai Namco Filmworks’ official online store A-on STORE and other retailers. Preorders open at 12:00 noon on May 15, 2026, and close at 23:59 on July 31, 2026. The Inuyasha artwork pursues a Japanese painting aesthetic through detailed line texture and coloring, depicting Inuyasha in his iconic red Robe of the Fire-Rat, holding Tessaiga with a sharp expression. The framed panel is available with two fabric styles, Kyoto damask and gold brocade, and includes a plate engraved with a serial number. Serial numbers cannot be selected. The Sesshomaru artwork also emphasizes Japanese painting-style linework and coloring, showing Sesshomaru holding Tokijin with a dignified expression.
