Blue Bottle Coffee Japan LLC (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo) will open "Blue Bottle Coffee Hakata Cafe" on July 21, 2026 (Tue) in the "Nishinihon City Building" opening in front of Hakata Station. The Hakata Cafe will be the second cafe in the Kyushu area, following the Fukuoka Tenjin Cafe which opened in February 2024. We aim to bring new vibrancy to the city of Hakata, which is undergoing further development, by delivering a heartfelt coffee experience, with the hope that the rich moments and connections born from a cup of coffee will spread like ripples. The interior design of the Hakata Cafe was handled by Tatsuya Nishinaga of TEKI DESIGN, with the concept of "connections spreading from a single cup." Inspired by the city of Fukuoka, which has developed along its topography, a gently curved coffee counter has been installed inside. At the center of the counter, baristas meticulously brew coffee one cup at a time, with seating areas naturally surrounding them. Just as a drip creates ripples, the activities centered around coffee spread throughout the interior and eventually create rich connections within the entire space and the city. We have prepared seating options such as bench seats and table seats, which can be chosen according to your preferred way of spending time, from enjoying coffee alone to spending time with family and friends, to accommodate various scenes throughout the day. The Hakata Cafe offers a variety of drinks, from specialty coffees carefully prepared by baristas to non-coffee drinks such as "Matcha Latte" and the seasonal "Yuzu Lemonade Float," ensuring a comfortable time for everyone. For food, the "Toast Menta Potato," a Hakata Cafe exclusive, expresses Hakata's food culture in the Blue Bottle Coffee style. Using bread from the popular Fukuoka bakery "Okuzoe Seipan," we offer a unique menu at the Hakata Cafe that allows you to enjoy an encounter with local flavors. Furthermore, as a Hakata Cafe limited item, we will also release a "Rattan
