Bullet Group Inc. has been selected for the "2nd Hiroshima AI Sandbox," an initiative by Hiroshima Prefecture, and will commence an AI demonstration project in collaboration with Etajima City to aim for comprehensive welfare support. This demonstration will verify the feasibility of a system that safely organizes and utilizes information dispersed across the city's welfare departments, making it easier for staff to make support decisions. What will be demonstrated? Cases where a single household faces multiple challenges, such as caregiving, childcare, and poverty, are increasing, making a "cross-sectional understanding of the entire household's situation" essential for appropriate support. However, the current situation presents the following challenges: Structural challenges: Information within local governments is managed and fragmented by system and department. On-site burden: Staff members contact other departments each time and manually cross-reference information. In this demonstration, we will verify whether AI can be used to safely organize and utilize information such as documents and consultation records dispersed across various contact points, thereby supporting staff decision-making. A system that can be introduced without significantly altering the on-site workflow, while strictly protecting resident privacy, will be developed collaboratively by Etajima City staff and the development team on-site.
