BAYCREW'S CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Masayoshi Furumine) is pleased to announce the launch of its third ethnic collection, featuring India's traditional "block printing" technique, starting in early July 2026. ■ bunai × JOURNAL STANDARD relume In collaboration with "bunai," an Indian factory brand, we present a collection that includes open-collar shirts and easy pants made with "KALAMKARI" block-printed fabric, as well as exclusive bead accessories created for JOURNAL STANDARD relume. This collection seamlessly integrates the craftsmanship of Indian artisans into the modern wardrobe. ■ KALAMKARI BLOCK PRINT "KALAMKARI" is a traditional Indian block-printing technique where patterns are created by repeatedly stamping hand-carved wooden blocks, one by one. The slight misalignments and smudges from the artisans' handwork give each piece a unique expression and warmth. The shirts and pants utilize block-printed fabric hand-dyed by artisans. Beautiful borders, appearing only at the fabric edges, are luxuriously used not only on the hems but also on the cuffs. These borders serve as accents that tighten the overall pattern, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail unique to artisans' handwork, down to the calculated placement of fabric cuts. The material is 100% Indian cotton, known for its excellent breathability and absorbency. With a light feel and relaxed silhouette, it ensures comfortable wear even in hot and humid seasons. This is a unique ethnic collection from JOURNAL STANDARD relume, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. ■ BEADS ACCESSORIES The accessories are handcrafted by Indian artisans using glass beads and natural stones. For this collection, JOURNAL STANDARD relume supervised the color combinations, compatibility with styling, and lengths suitable for layering. The result is accessories that add a subtle touch of color to your summer outfits. ▼ Available Stores All JOURNAL STANDARD relume stores / BA
