Asukanet Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Daikichiro Murakami; headquarters: Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture; TSE Growth: 2438) proudly announced its sponsorship of the exhibition of photo books created by 20 elementary school parent-child pairs at the "JPS Kansai Exhibition" (venue: Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art Annex, 2F) and its pre-event titled "First Experience with an Interchangeable Lens Camera! — Take Photos, Select, and Complete Your Album!" hosted by the Japan Professional Photographers Society (JPS), a public interest incorporated association. Under the guidance of professional photographers who are JPS members, participants experienced the entire process from photography to album creation, with selected finished works displayed at the museum for public viewing. Passing on the Experience of Not Just Taking Photos, But Preserving Them for the Next Generation While opportunities to take photos in daily life have increased with smartphones, fewer people are preserving their photos as tangible works. Asukanet, in collaboration with the Japan Professional Photographers Society (JPS), aims to pass on the culture of preserving photographs to future generations by providing children and their families with hands-on experiences in photography and creative expression. Hosting a Parent-Child Photography Workshop Led by Professional Photographers On April 19, 2026, the event "First Experience with an Interchangeable Lens Camera! — Take Photos, Select, and Complete Your Album!" was held in Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture, inviting 20 parent-child pairs of elementary school students. With mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras provided by sponsoring companies, professional photographers who are JPS members guided participants in camera operation and shooting techniques. Participants selected their own photos and used a free coupon for Asukanet's photo book service "MyBook" to create original photo albums. Photo: Nobuyoshi Ochi Photo: Nobuyoshi Ochi Photo: Nobuyoshi
