The Gunma Factory of Asahi Soft Drinks Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo, President: Kayoko Kondo) has received the "Regional Environmental Beautification Contribution Award" at the "FY2026 Environmental Conservation Commendation," which is held annually by the Ministry of the Environment in conjunction with Environment Month in June. This award recognizes individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to environmental conservation and the preservation and beautification of the local environment. This year, 42 individuals and 71 organizations received the award. The Gunma Factory has been carrying out cleanup activities in the vicinity of the factory for over 20 years. In recent years, the factory has conducted cleanup activities approximately five times a year within a 1-kilometer radius centered on the factory, with a total of about 500 participants annually. These continuous efforts have been recognized for their contribution to the beautification of the local environment, leading to this award.
