AQUARIUM×ART átoa (Chuo-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, Director: Hiromi Nakayama, hereinafter referred to as átoa) will open a permanent exhibition corner called "Fragments of Nature" as part of its "ELEMENTS: Forest of Spirits" zone renewal (scheduled to open July 11, 2026), a project celebrating its 5th anniversary. This corner will showcase products and technologies developed by SHARP Corporation (Chuo-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, President and CEO: Tetsuji Kawamura, hereinafter referred to as SHARP) based on biomimetics (※) "Nature Technology®", which learns from the principles of nature. Nine selected items from SHARP's numerous products, aligned with átoa's worldview, will be exhibited. Through this exhibition, we hope visitors will gain an appreciation for learning from living organisms, understand how the resulting technologies are applied in products, and feel the wonder of the creatures that inspired them. Please experience Nature Technology, used in familiar products, and the charm of the original creatures in átoa's unique space where art and living things harmonize. This exhibition is a result of corporate collaboration that began in fiscal year 2025, where átoa and SHARP aim to mimic the forms, functions, and abilities of living organisms to drive new technological development and manufacturing. In addition to this new exhibition, a joint research project analyzing jellyfish movement has had a scientific paper accepted by the Journal of Aero Aqua Bio-mechanisms, a specialized academic journal for biomimetics, on May 29, 2026. ※ "Biomimetics (Bio: Biology + Mimetics: Imitation)" A scientific technology that mimics the forms, functions, and abilities of living organisms and applies them to new technological development and manufacturing. Some products can be touched, allowing visitors to experience the wonder of living things through
