Anfa Co., Ltd.’s men’s skincare brand DISM announced a new hair-care series based on the idea of “skincare for the scalp.” The lineup includes two types of “DISM Skincare & Lift Shampoo / Treatment Pack” and the scalp beauty device “DISM EMS Skincare & Lift Pro Head Device.” The products will launch first through the official store on May 15, 2026, followed by general sales on May 22, 2026. Since its launch in 2021, DISM has developed products focused on men’s skin concerns. The brand is now turning its attention to the recent trend of “skinification,” which applies the same mindset, ingredients, and techniques used in facial skincare to scalp care. Because the scalp is connected to the face, scalp care is said to influence facial appearance. Men generally have more scalp sebum than women, making clogged pores and scalp stiffness more likely. According to DISM’s April 2026 survey of men in their 30s to 50s, around 30% felt scalp stiffness or tension, and 40% of them were interested in its potential link to sagging facial lines and nasolabial folds. The new series combines Anfa’s 35 years of scalp research with DISM’s expertise in dermatology, ingredients, and product feel. Treating the scalp as an “extension of the face,” DISM proposes its own skinification method: cleansing with shampoo, stimulating or training the scalp with hands or a device, and conditioning the scalp with a treatment pack. The shampoo method was supervised by Hisako Takami, a leading researcher in anatomy and facial muscles. “DISM Skincare & Lift Shampoo” uses DISM Amino Cleanse cleansing ingredients to remove sebum and impurities while keeping the scalp and hair moisturized. It creates fine, dense, elastic foam that wraps the scalp. “DISM Skincare & Lift Treatment Pack” features a rich, highly adhesive texture designed to address scalp concerns, and includes the heat-protective hair-repair ingredient gamma-docosalactone to help smooth the hair surface with dryer heat.
