The "Kanto Student Lacrosse League" will be held for the 38th time this year. It is the largest lacrosse league in Japan, with a total of 93 teams (men's and women's) participating in the Kanto region. The men's league is divided into divisions 1 through 3, and the women's league is divided into divisions 1 through 4, making it a high-level and exciting competition. Lacrosse is a field sport where players use a stick with a net at the end, called a "cross," to carry a ball and score points by getting it into the opponent's goal. Each team has 10 players, and the game consists of four 15-minute quarters. While the rules differ for men and women, all the essential elements of ball sports – passing, catching, and shooting – are incorporated. Actio will continue to contribute to a prosperous society through sports. ■ Tournament Overview Name 38th Kanto Student Lacrosse League presented by Watanabe Pipe Dates July 4, 2026 (Sat) - December 20, 2026 (Sun) (scheduled) Venues Edogawa Riverside Sports Ground, various sports grounds within Komazawa Olympic Park, Oi Hockey Stadium, Fujitsu Stadium Kawasaki, Fukuda Denshi Arena, Omiya Kenpo Ground, various university grounds, etc. Number of Participating Teams 93 teams, 93 universities (scheduled) Tournament Outline https://www.lacrosse.gr.jp/news/59526/
