A 5-piece assortment in collaboration with Mijumaru. Akafuku Co., Ltd. (Ise City, Mie Prefecture, President and Representative Director: Tomoe Hamada) will launch a new regional product, "Pearl Salt and Owase Natsumikan Mochi Mie Prefecture x Mijumaru Ver.," in collaboration with Mie's supporting Pokémon "Mijumaru" through its Japanese and Western confectionery brand "Isuzu Chaya." This product is a special project commemorating the 150th anniversary of Mie Prefecture's establishment. It is an assortment of two types of ankoromochi: one made with "pearl salt" produced from seawater in Minamiise Town, and another with a refreshing aroma, made with special peel from Mie Prefecture's "Owase Natsumikan" mixed into the anko. This 5-piece assortment allows you to enjoy two different flavors. Sales will begin sequentially on July 4, 2026 (Saturday). The "San" series from Isuzu Chaya utilizes Akafuku's long-cultivated "anko" (sweet bean paste) techniques, combining it with ingredients such as fruits and chocolate to express the depth and flavor of "anko" in a new form as mochi confectionery. Design package featuring Mie's supporting Pokémon "Mijumaru," inspired by the sea of Mie and using pearl salt and Owase Natsumikan peel. In this product, based on the "sea" and "water" imagery, reflecting that Mijumaru, appointed as Mie's supporting Pokémon, is a "water-type" Pokémon and that Mie Prefecture is blessed with coastal resources, we have expressed Mie's nature and climate through mochi confectionery. "Pearl Salt" uses salt carefully made from seawater drawn from Minamiise Town. It is characterized by its subtle saltiness and mellow, gentle flavor. The ankoromochi is shaped into balls, resembling pearls. "Owase Natsumikan Mochi" is an ankoromochi mixed with peel from Mie Prefecture's Owase Natsumikan, offering a refreshing aroma, balanced acidity, and a slightly bitter taste. This product allows you to enjoy the rich blessings of Mie's nature, the sea and the sun, together wi
