AirX Inc. We are pleased to announce that we have been selected as a joint operator for the following two projects aiming for practical implementation. ・Project ➊: Commercial Operation Realization Road to 2029 Project ・Project ➋: Harima Region/Himeji City Base Formation Project AirX will participate in this project, aiming to commence commercial operations within Hyogo Prefecture in fiscal year 2029, by collaborating with 6 joint and cooperating companies, leveraging their respective expertise. We will accelerate our efforts towards the practical implementation and commercialization of flying cars for social implementation. Background "Flying cars" are expected to contribute to solving social issues such as alleviating urban traffic congestion, reducing environmental impact, and securing transportation for areas with limited mobility, as next-generation mobility featuring "electric power," "autonomous flight," and "vertical takeoff and landing." Through the utilization of such mobility, we aim to build a society by the 2030s where more free and active air travel is realized, connecting the Kansai and Setouchi areas with "sky corridors." Hyogo Prefecture has been accepting applications since fiscal year 2026 for initiatives directly related to implementation within the prefecture, aiming for the early realization of commercial operations.
