Katori City, Chiba Prefecture, in collaboration with Itako City, Sakura City, and Hotel Nikko Narita, will host a PR event on May 17, 2026, to promote the upcoming Iris Festivals. Mayors, tourism ambassadors, and local mascots will welcome guests and highlight various events, including restaurant fairs and a digital stamp rally. The Suigo Sawara Iris Festival in Katori City runs from May 23 to June 21, featuring 1.5 million irises that visitors can admire while riding traditional boats.
