(GCI). This release is the third report regarding the 'Hybrid Coaster WADATSUMI.' Praying for Safe and Successful Construction Prior to the commencement of construction for the 'Hybrid Coaster WADATSUMI,' which is slated to open in the spring of 2028, a safety prayer ceremony was held at the construction site. Approximately 40 related parties attended the ritual, including Takatoshi Matsuno, President & CEO of Greenland Resort Co., Ltd.; Atsushi Daimon, President & CEO of Sanoyas Ride Co., Ltd.; and Clair Hain Jr., President & CEO of Great Coasters International, Inc. In line with the name 'WADATSUMI,' which is derived from the sea god in Japanese mythology, the ritual was presided over by Koki Azumi, chief priest of Shigaumi Shrine (Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture), known as the head shrine for sea god worship throughout Japan. Through rituals such as the recitation of prayers, the purification ceremony, and the offering of tamagushi, attendees prayed for the safe and smooth progress of construction. They also expressed their hopes that the attraction would become beloved by many customers from both Japan and abroad upon its completion, and that it would become a new symbol of the region, cherished for years to come.
