Satsuma Shuzo's Hinokami Distillery announced that its very first public release, 'HINOKAMI NEW BORN #1', won the Superior Gold in the New Born Spirits category at the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition (TWSC) 2026. Furthermore, their limited edition 'HINOKAMI WHISKY MATSURI LIMITED EDITION 2025' secured a Gold award, achieving a double victory. 'HINOKAMI NEW BORN #1' is vatted from six selected bourbon barrels with a delicate 1ppm peat touch, embodying the distillery's elegant origin. Hinokami Distillery, located at Japan's southernmost point, also features a unique visitor center and cooperage.
