Flyer (Front) Flyer (Back) The Machida Citizen's Museum of Literature Kotobaland will hold the exhibition "Koji Ishikawa: Playable! Picture Book Museum" as a summer vacation event for children. "Animal Hide-and-Seek," where cute animals appear in pop colors as you turn the die-cut pages. "Masks," where smiling animals peek out when you lift the ogre and kappa masks. "Egg Picture Book," where you can experience the emotion of new life hatching from an egg. Koji Ishikawa's picture books are full of charm that makes everyone from babies to adults smile. What enhances this charm are the beautiful colors and shapes, as well as the simplicity and thoughtful design of the "mechanisms" that are synonymous with Ishikawa's picture books. This exhibition will express the charm of Koji Ishikawa's picture books, filled with magic that captivates children, through colorful original illustrations and an exhibition space with various creative displays. In this commemorative year, marking the 20th anniversary of Kotobaland's opening and the 20th anniversary of Koji Ishikawa's debut as a picture book author, please enjoy the "Playable! Picture Book Museum" that comes to life from the world of picture books, here at Kotobaland.
