Koshu City in Yamanashi Prefecture, a town known for its wine and fruit, has partnered with Rakuten Group Inc. to establish the "Koshu City Fan Club" on Rakuten Ichiba, allowing supporters nationwide to connect with the city. This initiative is a proactive step ahead of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' proposed "Hometown Resident Registration System," aiming to seamlessly connect donors to "Rakuten Furusato Nozei" (hometown tax donations) with the city's "town fans" (related population). Members will receive exclusive benefits such as local experiences, campaigns, and seasonal news that cannot be fully appreciated through a screen. We will also introduce new experiences that allow for deeper engagement with the region, including collaborations with short-term spot jobs and residency-based assistance programs. From a "town where you receive thank-you gifts" to a "new hometown" that you'll want to visit again and again. A new community is launching, fostering deep connections between Koshu City and its supporters across the country. Details here https://event.rakuten.co.jp/area/koshu/furusatoresidents/
